Good Day in Haiti - Nov 12, 2008 |
Dear Praying Friends!
Today was a wonderful day ordered by the Lord. We began with breakfast and devotions by Emmanuel Felix. He shared with us that we must live as loving people and have our lives filled with the Holy Spirit. To be sure that we are committed to Him and that we must show the love, joy and peace that we have in our hearts.
Then we drove to Bon Bon - not pronouncing the "n" and using a long "o" and very nasal sounding. Anyway we did pray with one gentleman and gave him a radio. We talked with many families that were selling fish along the shore.
Then on our way back we stopped at the new church at the airport and met with the congregation - we had bags of rice and beans for each family. Emmanuel shared a brief message and gave 6 families radios. I thought of an old song "Little is much when God is in it" Also felt like the little boy with the bread and fish. God certainly blest us all - just to be together with those precious families.

PS: One of the team members stayed back with babies - rocked babies and just loved on them. Another member worked outside on a project.
