A Message from Gene & Shelba Pollic / MFM International - Sep 6, 2008

hessalonians 1:2:…“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father”…

Deeds or gifts are not measured by size – whether large or small. We must remember that we are working “together” in the Harvest and all we do or give is to bring honor to Him.

We do thank you for your generous hearts – we appreciate your prayers. As you pray and give, please be reminded that we are standing side by side with you serving and honoring God.

These next few weeks and months will be quite busy with plans and preparations. With excitement we are looking forward to all God will do.

We are involved in several projects that all of you can become involved with: …
Cookbook for Jeremie Orphans food fund raiser:
Sea Container to take badly needed food, construction supplies, clothing and many other items to the kids mission:
Finish two churches out in the bush country:
Start construction on a third church near the Jeremie airport:
Water Filters: Teaching the Haitians to build and maintain filters that will put out pure drinking water:
Solar Panel project to replace electricity at Haiti Gospel Mission – headed by Stan Hightower from Colorado.
Tennis Shoes: Gene & Shelba have purchased 100 pairs to be put on the container.

More are to be bought in December.

A trip to Haiti for two weeks in November to start these and to do evangelism and witnessing – prayer walks.

NOTE: You can see more about these projects on the kids website at: www.jeremieorphans.org
