Greetings Friends of Haiti We have a BIG PTL to share with ya'al!
Yesterday (Friday the 30th) Gene met with two gents in Windsor Indiana concerning a possible donation to the unfinished Jeremie airport church - the amount: $2,407.30 - this closed an account of the Windsor CCC which closed its doors some 5 yrs ago. The remaining funds was wished upon by the closing congregation to be used to help build a church on foreign soil - a mission church.
Our meeting lasted some 2 hrs - it was a great time of sharing with pastor Ron and Harold.
The check is made out directly to Haiti Gospel Mission - Yvrose Pierre
We will take it in to her in December for further purchase of materials to help toward finishing the church.
Friends - we still need $4,093 to finish the exterior of the church.
This started out as an MMC project - they bought the land (with some outside help) and a person from Texas paid for the security walls and gates.
Since then -approx a year plus - NO FUNDS have come in to help finish the church construction....
God is on the move again - He is going to supply the funds - please pray about your being a part of this venture.
We will also need $2,500-3,000 for furniture once the exterior structure is finished.
Remember - this church has grown from its conception 2 yrs ago to nearly 100 people
AND _ PTL! - some 7 couples who have become a part of the church - who were not legally married - are to be married there
this December - we will be attending that marriage ceremony
