A message from Yvrose

We heard from Yvrose over this past weekend. There was some sort of tremor or earthquake this past weekend in Jeremie. The kids church which is on the other side of C.A.R.E. was damaged the front overhang and part of the front wall collapsed - We were able to get money sent to Jimmy Suttle who is leading a team in there in the next couple of weeks for payment of the repairs. ALSO: - Tuesday - she called in the morning - there were 5 children who were refugees from the Port au Prince disaster found in Moron - about 5 plus miles out from Jeremie who were homeless and starving One of the kids mother was with them She was on her way to pick them up for placement in the orphanage - 4 boys - one girl - one mother who will be a helper to Yvrose This puts our current count to 131 in the orphanage Jimmy was already taking money to Yvrose for more food, etc. Please pray for all of them - USAID rice - 110# bags are black-marketed at $180 to 200 per gag fuel is costing from $20-22 per gallon. PTL: Stan Hightower called - the washing machines and generator and booster pump and some other parts have been found and are being released this Friday in Port au Prince - Yvrose has been in contact with them and is going to have Felix go and pick them up. This is another project for Jimmy's team - to put in place - we will finish the wiring - plumbing and full installation this June when we have 3 different teams going in.
