All donations to the Jeremie Orphans can be made through the Missionary Methodist Churches of America (MMC of A) headquartered in Shelby, NC.

All donations are income tax receiptible.

Projects are as follows: MMC1001 - General Fund ( to be used as needed )

1002 - School Funds-support for one year = $250 per child 89 of the 120 children are in school - there are 8 in university - seminary - medical - agriculture - this costs $4,000 per child per year - each already have a $2,000 per scholarship. $2,000 ea. are needed.

The Grade School bill alone for 2010 is $16,000 plus the university bills.

1003 - food

1004 -Creole Bibles for kids/churches - can buy for $8 ea. -in Haiti - NOTE: The same Bibles are available in the USA for $29.95 plus taxes and shipping - it is better to buy in Haiti and distribute. The CHALLENGE is for each family to buy one bible a year.

1005 Adopt-a-food animal - to be used to purchase animals in Haiti for reproduction and food source - a good source of protein.

1007 - General maintenance for buildings - paint, etc.

1011 - Transmission replacement for Tap-Tap - $3,000 needed

1012 - For new church near airport - land is paid for - 1,000 blocks and 100 bags of cement has been purchased - 500 blocks have been laid to date: $4,000 more is needed to finish roof and buy furniture for inside. NOTE: Security walls and gates have been purchased and installed.

1012A - pastors quarters for new church - $3,000 needed

1013 - to help Gene & Shelba Pollic (Missionaries with MFM ) to travel for purpose of buying goods for orphanage - shipping is $8 per cubic foot - Currently: $4,000 is needed to purchase items to be shipped in May of 2010. More money can be used if funds are available thru donations -we ship rice-beans-staples - building supplies - food - and clothing every year. Donated items are welcomed.

1021 - Clean Water filters for purifying river water to drink - $32 per 75-gal filter - enough for 20-25 people per filter - plan is for 300 plus filters for orphanage and churches each year. Over 100 have been built and are in use.

1022- New roof for church in St Charles area. Old roof collapsed - $1,500 needed for materials - would like to ship in May/2010 - install in June.

1023 - A need is for four (4) Jialing 125cc motorcycles for the pastors in the outlaying area churches - we buy them in Jeremie for $1250 each = $5,000 total needed. The churches are far from Jeremie and the motorcycles are needed for transportation.
